A NEW MODERN BIG BAND BASED IN SARASOTA FLORIDA
Sarasota Gold is a high-energy, contemporary 17+ piece band providing musical styles from Pop, Rock and Blues to Latin, Standards and Jazz. Our musicians play for medium to large events including weddings, corporate events, and concert hall performances.

We promote more modern music with a contemporary sound. For special occasions, we have an additional library of 2,500 big band charts to select from.

"Sarasota Gold"  is a fully self-contained group available to perform indoors or outdoors with our own PA system, stands, keyboards and mixers. Our music is carefully chosen to inject excitement and power into the audience. The percussion section is staffed with professional musicians including a trap set, timbales and congas.

 Our current book includes over 100 vocal and instrumental charts with everything from MODERN Latin charts to classic big band era and swing charts. We are known for our up-tempo energy with a modern, contemporary sound.

We travel up to 200 miles from Sarasota. Our primary venues are Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Port Charlotte, Fort Myers, Naples, and the Tampa Bay area including St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Tarpon Springs.
